The Honolulu Prosecutor alleges Kobina Nyarku, 30, used a local bank’s computer to illegally obtain information on its employees.
Nyarku pretended to apply for a job at the bank to gain access to the computer. The bank notified the Honolulu Police Department. They called Nyarku for a job interview the following day, at which time he was arrested.
He has been charged with two felony counts of unauthorized computer access in the first and second degree — punishable by up to 20 years in prison and up to 10 years in prison, respectively.
