Tower of Power is back in the Aloha State, with dates through Sunday at the Blue Note, and back on All Things Considered with HPR's Dave Lawrence. The band have a long history here, and the late concert promoter and radio personality Tom Moffatt often called them "one of Hawaii's favorite bands". Following up a recent phone interview, Tower of Power co-founder/band leader/saxophonist Emilio Castillo took time to speak about their history, and in particular, some of their remarkable session work over the decades.
