Sheena Easton is back in town for shows tonight and tomorrow at the Blue Note. She took time to speak with HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence about some of her career highlights. From getting to perform the theme song to the James Bond film For Your Eyes Onlyand being featured in the opening of the movie, to working alongside Prince on a number of projects, to acting gigs that have included marrying Don Johnson's character on Miami Vice, to being on the crime-fighting team alongside Scooby Doo, she's had a diverse career. But she also had to grow up fast, with a childhood that had her performing by age five, and learning how to handle adult responsibilites at the young age of ten after her father passed away.
