Legendary Indian percussionist Zakir Hussain is back in the Aloha State. He spoke with HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence about the visit. Zakir was to perform with rising sitar star Niladri Kumar, but due to visa issues he has been replaced on the show with sarod player Alam Khan, son of the music legend Ali Akbar Khan, for shows tonight at the MACC, Friday at the Kahilu Theatre, and Sunday at the Mamiya Theatre.
