Guitar monster Tommy Emmanuel is playing Honolulu Thursday through Sunday at the Blue Note, and then on the Valley Isle Monday at the MACC, touring to support his latest release, Live at the Ryman. He spoke to HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence about his truly unusual life, that includes having his mother provide critical early childhood influences that would guide him to this day.
