Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR. This week we’re learning about After-School All-Stars Hawai'i with our guests, Program Director David Asato and Site Coordinator for Washington Middle School, Jowana Lobendahn.
After-School All-Stars Hawai'i provides comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and in life. They help to instill good sportsmanship and inclusion of the disabled. We learned about them recently via our interview with the Special Olympics H?wai'i, you may recall from a recent Helping Hand segment.
