The 9th Annual Taste of Korea Hosted by Hawaii Korean Cultural Center

Hawaii Korean Cultural Center, a nonprofit entity, hosts the Taste of Korea, a food tasting event with a mission to build Korean Cultural Center in Hawaii. The Taste of Korea first started in 2014, and it’s 9th year because there was no Taste of Korea for three years due to the Covid pandemic from 2020 to 2022. This year’s exciting “Taste of Korea” will showcase local chefs/restaurants exploring their “take” on Korean cuisine and ingredients. The Taste of Korea will also celebrate and promote the National Kimchi Day to the people of Hawaii. The event will also include a sampling of Korean (fusion Korean) food, liquor, entertainment, and a raffle ticket drawings with prizes. The grand prize for the raffle ticket drawing is a roundtrip ticket to Korea! The Taste of Korea has two goals: 1) sharing Korean culture through food and entertainment with the people of Hawaii; and 2) raising funds to open the Korean Cultural Center to the people of Hawaii. You can enjoy all you can eat food tasting and liquor tasting with lots of entertainment, traditional Korean music and dances and also K pop dances. Tickets ($100 per ticket) can be purchased at www.HawaiiKCC.org.
