Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Iniko is taking social media by storm with their recent song, "The King's Affirmation." The song has garnered over 40 million views and caught the attention of Columbia Records, who recently signed the New York native.

The song begins, "I will be one of the greatest, that is a vow. Yeah, that is a promise" and has left lasting impressions for social media users that have streamed this audio to create millions of reels and Tik Toks.

The alternative soul artist, whose pronouns are they/them/theirs, states the song is to "serve as a mantra to listeners to be their true self and refute societal norms."

In commemoration of Pride, Iniko will be performing in Honolulu for the first time on October 9 for Black Bazaar HNL's Pride N Seek event at The Republik.  Doors open at 7pm. To purchase tickets and for more information, go to www.blackbazaarhnl.com or www.jointherepublik.com
