HapaSymphony Featuring Raiatea Helm
HapaSymphony Featuring Raiatea Helm
Raiatea Helm reunites with your Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra for an all-new program of her favorite traditional mele. Her authentic “leo ki‘eki‘e” (female falsetto) and ‘ukulele playing have dazzled audiences all over the world. Still, Raiatea continues to champion mele while educating the next generation on Hawai‘i’s rich history through traditional song and dance.
