Cultivating a following by Telling Stories with Flowers, Gentle Beat Flower by owner and floral artisan Kai Nainoa is moving to Ward Centre, located at 1200 Ala Moana Blvd. The flower salon will celebrate a grand opening for the public in its new space throughout the weekend of October 15 and 16 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Floral installations—including designs from invited guest florists traveling to Oʻahu from as far as Paris, Japan and South Korea—will be on display for the occasion.

Amenities at the new Gentle Beast include a parlour offering fine teas and a selection of pastries, all in a serene setting akin to a blooming art gallery. The salon sources seasonal blooms from all over the world each week, offering arrangements to suit both special occasions and daily life.
