American Sign Language Day at Sea Life Park Hawaiʻi

American Sign Language Day at Sea Life Park Hawaiʻi

Sea Life Park Hawaiʻi will host a celebration of National ASL (American Sign Language) Day on April 15, conducted in partnership with Comprehensive Service Center—an organization offering programs to support Deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind individuals, as well as their families and the professionals who work with them. The event will feature interpreted programming throughout the grounds of Sea Life Park Hawaiʻi and ASL Story Time, with festivities running from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Attendees who are Deaf or hard of hearing will receive free admission, and friends and family of those requiring ASL services can enjoy the park’s kamaʻāina rate.

Park guests will have the opportunity to get immersed in educational and interactive presentations in the company of dolphins, rays, sharks, sea lions, seabirds, native fish species, honu, and other wondrous animal ambassadors inspiring conservation-minded behavior through their unique stories.
