Global Contributions Coming to the Philippines

Residents across the islands are pitching in with contributions for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Organizers plan a benefit concert next month…Hawaii banks are collecting funds…and the Filipino Community Center in Waipahu is coordinating relief efforts. On the international front, contributors make up a long list—with differing levels of support. HPR’s Bill Dorman has more in today’s Asia Minute.
