Remembering the 'Children of Beslan'

A new documentary, Children of Beslan, looks at the tragedy of the deadly Russian school siege through the eyes of child survivors.

Thousands gathered in the southern Russian city today to mark the one-year anniversary of the school's violent takeover by militant Chechen separatists.

The three-day ordeal ended when Russian troops stormed the school, leaving 331 people dead -- more than half of them children.

Beslan is still recovering from the devastation. Only one hostage-taker has been brought to trial so far, and the city's residents -- in particular, its children -- continue to learn how to cope with their memories and losses.
