Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder have both endorsed beefing up weapons inspections in Iraq and a full Iraq no-fly zone. NPR's Emily Harris reports.

Hawaiʻi bill promotes zero-emission travel between islands

Hawaiʻi lawmakers this year passed legislation creating a working group to develop ways to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions on transportation between the islands. Sen. Chris Lee says depending on imported fossil fuels gives Hawaiʻi high transportation costs but shifting to cleaner energy could lower those costs.
