Asia Minute: Beijing Cracks Down on Smoking

A measure that would boost Hawai‘i’s smoking age to 21 is awaiting the signature of Governor Ige. The state legislature passed the bill this session—the latest move to cut the use of tobacco products in the state. With the start of the new month, China is trying a different approach to cut smoking. HPR’s Bill Dorman has more in today’s Asia Minute.
