Helping Hand - Clubhouses / Adult Mental Health Division, Dept. of Health 2015
This week on Helping Hand, returning guests offer information on helping folks with mental illnesses, and the unique clubhouse day and evening programs. We’re privileged to be joined by the Psychosocial Rehabilitation/Case Management Service Coordinator at the Hawai'i Adult Mental Health Division of the Department of Health, Kathleen Miriam, and Peer Specialist Intern Martin Boegel.
Helping Hand is a weekly feature Fridays on HPR1 stations across Hawai‘i during the afternoon drive broadcast of All Things Considered, and online here in our online directory of resources. Each Friday afternoon, Helping Hand gives visibility to an organization, topic or event that offers assistance to the disabled and other folks among the most vulnerable in the community with All Things Considered local Honolulu Host Dave Lawrence.
