After his last sold-out film and lecture, Dr. Gary Greenberg returns to take us on a visual journey through the cosmos and into the microverse of individual living cells. He shows how telescopes and microscopes have expanded human consciousness. A single brain cell with more than a thousand synaptic connections (seen as tiny spines) is magnified hundreds of times. Cells invented neural networks millions of years ago. Where will evolution lead us next?
