Cool down on summer evenings in the J. Watumull Planetarium at Bishop Museum with family-friendly movie screenings! Watch a short movie in the cozy theater and engage with educators and community partners through themed activities in an intimate, park-like atmosphere. Different showtimes are available from 5-8 PM.

Sunset screenings on Wednesday, July 16th will feature the movie, "Ocean Paradise," a film that brings viewers to Palmyra Atoll, Midway Atoll, and Rose Atoll to take a close look at their breathtaking flora and fauna, along with the environmental threats they face. Before or after your selected screening, relax on the Great Lawn, enjoy the sunset, examine collection specimens, and more. This event overlaps with but is separate entry from Kaiwiʻula Night Market at Bishop Museum.
