Trump says Israel accepted ceasefire ahead of Netanyahu's White House visit

President Trump says Israel has accepted a 60-day ceasefire deal in Gaza and is urging Hamas to agree to it.

NPR’s Hadeel Al-Shalchi joins us to discuss what this means ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the White House next week.

Here's the tea on the new back and forth māmaki labeling law

In a Friday bill-signing ceremony, Gov. Josh Green enacted Act 242, or House Bill 496, the vehicle for the new māmaki labeling rules. The law went into effect Tuesday.
