Judging the Provisional Authority's Role in Iraq

The U.S.-led occupation of Iraq will transfer control of the country from the Coalition Provisional Authority to an interim government on Wednesday.

NPR's Andrea Seabrook speaks with Col. Paul Hughes and Larry Diamond about the past year in Iraq, one that was run by the U.S. Coalition Provisional Authority. Hughes is an army colonel and Diamond is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institute at Stanford. Both men worked in the CPA in Iraq.
