Sounds like a simple thing, but you might be surprised how many people may go undiagnosed with eye problems when a simple fix .. We sat down with Annie Valentine to talk about the group's outreach goals as we close out the end of the year.

She’s spent the last 20 years with the Harvard Negotiation Project and co-authored a couple of books. One is called Difficult Conversations: How to discuss what matters most. Another is Thanks for the feedback: the Science and Art of Receiving Feedback Well-- Even when its Off Base, Unfair, Poorly Delivered and Frankly, You Are Not In the Mood.”

Short Film, “Mauka to Makai”

This week we’ve been featuring films produced here in Hawaii.

We featured Rise of the Wahine yesterday--today we take a closer look at “Mauka to Makai.” Director Alika Maikai was fortunate enough to mentor with Joe Robert Cole who co-wrote the Hollywood blockbuster, Black Panther.  Alika Maikau, is the writer of the new short film Mauka To Makai, which he co-directed with Jonah Okano.
