Little Fire Ant

The little fire ant, or LFA as it is informally known, is an unwelcome visitor to the Hawaiian islands. It's small size and light orange color belie its devastating potential. This tiny invader is native to Central and South America, and was thought to have been introduced accidentally to Hawai?i.
