As H?k?le‘a sails around the world, outreach efforts on shore have provided the crew with opportunities to meet different communities.  Recenly, while docked in Yorktown, Virginia, the canoe’s navigators visited Native American tribes from one of the oldest Indian reservations in the nation. As part of our ongoing series H?k?le‘a Voyage of Aloha, crew member Starr Johnson has this report.

H?k?le‘a is back on the water, heading towards Tangier Island in Chesapeake Bay.
