HONOLULU (AP) — The pilot of a plane that crashed and killed all 11 on board had a history of taking unnecessary risks and pushing the limits of his skills to give passengers an exciting ride, witnesses told federal officials.

Dillingham Airfield on Oahu’s North Shore has been closed following a plane crash that killed two people Saturday morning. The fatal crash has rekindled debate over the airfield's future.

ATLANTA — A small plane en route to a college football playoff game crashed into the parking lot of a post office in Louisiana shortly after takeoff on Saturday, killing the daughter-in-law of one of the team's coaches and four other people on board.

ALMATY, Kazakhstan — A jetliner with 98 people aboard struggled to get airborne and crashed shortly after takeoff Friday in Kazakhstan, killing at least 12 people, authorities said.

Casey Williamson's love of adventure led him to winter snowboarding in Vail, Colorado, and summer skydiving in Moab, Utah. A year-and-a-half ago, he found his way to Hawaii, where he could skydive year-round.

The Honolulu Medical Examiner determined 10 men and one woman died Friday night at Dillingham Airfield, all the result of multiple blunt trauma injuries caused by the crash of a skydivers airplane. Official identities of the victims may be released starting Monday, the medical examiner said through a city spokeman Sunday afternoon.
