Reactions to the State of the State Address

Democratic Governor David Ige gave his 2021 State of the State Address this morning. Governor Ige urges residents to look forward after an unprecedented year. Tom Yamachika, President of Tax Foundation of Hawaii, joins us with reactions.

Governor David Ige is again postponing the plan to welcome back transpacific travelers due to the large spike in local COVID-19 cases. Daily case counts have been in the triple digits since the beginning of the month and have only declined somewhat in the past two days.
