Honolulu police say they are investigating what appears to be the murder-suicide of a family, including three children, at a Mānoa home. Lt. Deena Thoemmes said during a news conference Sunday afternoon that a preliminary investigation shows the husband fatally stabbed his wife and three children.

Police say a 10-year-old girl found dead at home on Oʻahu last month died from prolonged abuse and neglect, pneumonia and starvation. Her parents and grandmother were arrested Friday morning on suspicion of murder, kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment and other crimes.
