UH professor prepares for online teaching

Next week thousands of students across the University of Hawaii system will resume class as spring break draws to a close. The administration and university faculty union met this week to iron out contractual issues on how to migrate all classes online. Dr. Thomas Lee is an epidmiologist and on the faculty at the Office of Public Health. He teaches global health classes - one is offered online and he is working to convert the second as a distance learning class.

Rest assured that the seniors who rely on Meals on Wheels will still have that lifeline available. Lori Lau, director of the Lanakila Pacific Meals on Wheels program, tells us it is taking precautions to keep the service going.

Hawaii-born rugby player eyes Olympics

Martin Iosefo was born in Hawaii grew up in Western Samoa before spending his high school years on Oahu, living with relatives in Wahiawa. He currently plays full time for Team USA's Rugby Sevens team. He played in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro and he tells us about preparing for Tokyo.
