Lost sounds of Hawaii's native birds
David Kuhn of Kauai recorded native bird sounds back in the 1990s. It's tough for him to talk about because the forests don't sound the same. He tells us more. Find David Kuhn's recordings of natural sounds at SoundsHawaiian.com.
Honolulu Art Ensemble debut
The Honolulu Art Ensemble debuted last week at the Hawaii State Art Museum. Members include Jay Jasco on drums and percussion; T'Altosh on guitar, flutes and marimba; Peter Shaindlin on trumpet and flugelhorn; and Roland Longstreet on congas.
