Hawaii's natural beauty includes some areas of danger. Most people are cautious abut the risks in the ocean, or along hiking trails. But many people are surprised that even taking care of trees can also be hazardous! HPR's Sherry Bracken reports.

Mayor Roth's proposed budget up nearly 7% after reported revenue growth

Mayor Mitch Roth has submitted his proposed $888 million operating budget to the Hawaiʻi County Council for the next fiscal year. The mayor’s budget is up 6.6% from last year. It says $30.5 million of that bump would go to salary increases for employees.
