Lukas Nelson is one of Willie Nelson's sons and spent years growing up on Maui, where his legendary father has a home. His band Promise of The Real return to Charley's in Paia Friday and Saturday, on a bill that includes Pat Simmons Jr. (son of Patrick Simmons of the Doobie Brothers) and Lily Meola. Lukas took time to speak with HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence about his most recent POTR album, Something Real, movie soundtrack work with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, touring with Neil Young and emotional concert experiences at Neil's annual Bridge School Benefit concerts.
