Buying local can often come at a price. But a few incentive programs are encouraging shoppers to support Hawai‘i-grown produce. One of them targets older adults on a fixed income --- making it easier for our k?puna to get their fair share of fresh fruits and veggies. HPR’s Molly Solomon explains.

Seniors can sign up throughout the summer, with proper documentarion, at multiple locations across Oahu. For more information on how to apply and a list of upcoming signup locations, click here or call 954-7889.
