James "Duke" Aiona, Sen. David Ige, Wayne Yoshioka (political reporter, HPR), Mufi Hanneman, and Jeff Davis pose for a picture before the forum.

Affordable housing and homelessness, education and budget priorities were all topics of the gubernatorial forum hosted Monday night at Hawai‘i Public Radio. HPR Political Reporter Wayne Yoshioka covered a variety of topics with all four candidates: Republican James “Duke” Aiona, Democrat David Ige, Independent Mufi Hannemann, and Libertarian Jeff Davis.

The hour-long forum was recorded before a live studio audience at HPR’s Atherton Studio.
