HPR's All Things Considered Remembers Spencer Davis

Today it was announced that legendary band leader Spencer Davis had died yesterday in California at 81 after being treated for pneumonia. In the 1960’s the UK guitarist became known around the world for recordings of hits like “Gimmie Some Lovin’” and “I’m A Man”, which featured Steve Winwood on vocals and keyboards. In 2004 HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence had the chance to speak with him. Today we featured it on the show in his memory.
