This week on Helping Hand we’re grateful to catch up with a returning guest and have PARENTS INC. joining us – that’s Providing Awareness Referrals Education Nurturing Therapy and Support. According to their website, this non-profit has been serving local families since 1975 with a focus on the healthy growth and development of all family members through family strengthening, and prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. Today we welcome back Executive Director at PARENTS, Lisa Groulx.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR. Each Friday afternoon during All Things Considered, afternoon drive on HPR1 stations statewide, Helping Hand puts the spotlight on an organization, topic or event that offers assistance to the disabled and other folks who are among the most vulnerable with ATC Local Host Dave Lawrence.
