This week HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence welcomes Best Buddies Hawaii back to Helping Hand. March 10th is their annual Friendship Walk at Magic Island, Ala Moana Beach Park, 9 a.m. to noon raising awareness and funds to support their programs to foster friendship and inclusion between individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities through innovative school-based programs for young people. Sarah Man, State Director of Best Buddies Hawaii, discusses the many ways people can support their mission.
