Karl Haro von Mogel is a plant biotechnologist and chair of independent science nonprofit Biology Fortified, Inc., based in Wisconsin. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics with a minor in Life Science Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Steve Jones is the Personnel Manager and bassist of the Hawaii Pops, which begins its orchestra series of concerts in mid-September.

Kauai GMO, Part 2: Gary Hooser

Gary Hooser is a Kauai county council member and former director of the office of environmental quality control. He spent eight years in the state senate and from 2006-2010 was majority leader. The Kauai Council has been deliberating bill 2491and is waiting for the state attorney general to weigh in before the committee again looks at the bill next month.
