Ganzeer talks about values and commitment, and how they may play out now that he lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Pow!Wow! Hawai‘i is pressing on with its mission of igniting street art festivals around the world.  In March, Pow!Wow! staged its first event at the influential media mixer, South by Southwest.  Next month, Pow!Wow! rocks Long Beach, California.  Meanwhile, people continue to discover new paintings here in Kaka‘ako.  HPR’sNoeTanigawa offers this look at one particular work, by Egyptian artist, Ganzeer.

Ganzeer opened a new solo show, “Injustice Among Us”,  May 1-31, 2015, at ReCreative Spaces in Washington D.C.

March 14-21 2015, POW! WOW! partnered with SXSW and SprATX to create murals around Austin, Texas.

In the city of Long Beach, look for new murals between June 21st to the 28th with a week of exhibitions, film screenings and talks.  A Long Beach Museum of Art exhibition in collaboration with Thinkspace Gallery and Pow!Wow! opens on June 26th.  The exhibit is called “Vitality and Verve: Transforming the Urban Landscape”.
