Federal Judge Rules Kauai GMO Law Invalid

A federal judge has struck down a Kaua‘i County law that would require agribusinesses to disclose the presence and use of pesticides and genetically modified crops. U.S Magistrate Judge Barry Kurren ruled Monday that Ordinance 960 was invalid because state laws preempt county laws. HPR’s Molly Solomon explains.
