2016 India-Hawai’i Law Symposium: Dean C. Raj Kumar
College and grad students often fill their summer with internships to make sense of what they learn in class with some real world experience. For a handful of law students from India, their summer is being spent in Hawaii working as externs for Justices of the Hawaii Supreme Court. It’s one program of a growing partnership between India and Hawaii through the Jindal Global Law School and UH. A delegation from the school is in Honolulu to discuss Environmental Court, climate change and the environmental rule of law in India and Hawaii, at a UH Law school symposium. Founding Dean of Jindal Global Law School and founding Vice Chancellor of the Jindal University, Professor C. Raj Kumar joins us now.
