Two state legislature bills that would have required the University of Hawaii to expand training for employees in the Title IX office, and expand access to confidential services for students failed to be passed. Anna Chua, a UH student organizer, and Nora Gallo, co-executive director of the Every Voice Coalition, joined us to discuss the fight to end sexual violence on college campuses.

Comedian Tumua Tuinei on local style humor

Local stand-up comedian Tumua Tuinei has been rising steadily since he first started four years ago. He recently sold out 18 shows at the Blue Note Hawaii and will soon perform at sold out Mother's Day shows in Kaneohe. He spoke with HPR's Russell Subiono about being funny, "local style."
