Nobel Prize Winner Jennifer Doudna

Genome editing pioneer Jennifer Doudna, a U.C. Berkeley professor and Hilo High graduate made headlines earlier this month as a co-winner of  this year’s Nobel Prize in Chemistry.  Doudna was a guest on The Conversation a couple of years back. She was in Hawaii for a speaking tour about her work with the CRISPR gene editing technology. She reminisced about her humble roots, wonderful mentors and achievements along the way.
