Welcome to Classical Pacific for November 28th, 2017. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. I’m your host John Zak. Today we really rack up the “Musical” frequent flyer miles on Classical Pacific. We’ll hear music of Arthur Sullivan, Maurice Ravel, Georg Telemann, Manuel de Falla, Claude Debussy, Morten Lauridsen, Ottorino Respighi, and Aaron Copland? And, well head right back to Maui with a work by Jeff Peterson. How’s that for a “three-hour tour??”
And, please don’t forget that today is Giving Tuesday. HPR is looking for 300 new members by the end of this year, with 100 new members by the end of today’s Classical Pacific. These are folks who believe in supporting the best in news, information, and music that Hawaii has to offer on its airwaves.  Is that you? Call 955-8821 during business hours, or donate online, right on this website. Give the gift that  keeps on giving to your community, to your family, and to yourself!

John Kalani Zak, the son of an airline executive father and a journalist mother, was born in Washington D. C. He has lived in and traveled to many locations around the globe, and is delighted to call Hawaiʻi his home.
