This is the first day of HPR's Spring Drive, a time for us to encourage listeners to become members of HPR. On the Clasical side of the station this Spring, we took a poll to find out the favorite performers of you the listeners. We're going to feature performeer number 10 on the first day of the drive, and will continue to feature one artist each day, ending with number one on the final day of the drive.
If you're already a member, mahalo nui loa for your support. If you're a dedicated listener but haven't yet taken the plunge, think about how important HPR is to you. If you decide that it is, join us! I'll be pitching during the drive, and will continue to share great Classical music with you as well.

To get more information on each CD that I play, you can follow the program in one of two ways:
1. Go to hawaiipublicradio.org. Click on Programs, then HPR-2 Schedule, then find today's Classical Pacific link at 3pm. Information on each album will be displayed as the music plays, often with the cover of the album showing, too.
2. Go to the HPR App on your smart phone (you can download it for free, if you don't already have it). Choose HPR2. As the program plays, you'll see the information on each album, just as you do on the website.
Enjoy!
