Classical Pacific, April 24, 2019: Vive La France (Deux)

Today, a virtual trip to France, in anticipation of the 200 member choir singing the Fauré Requiem tonight at St. Andrew's, under the baton of HPU's Director of Choral Activities Alec Schumacker. The choir is made up of HPU students, Kapolei High School students, and the Windward Choral Society, and is accompanied by members of the Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra, including our own Sharene Taba. You can listen to three hours of French music on Classical Pacific, and then hurry over to St. Andrew's to hear this beautiful work, as well as other music from each of the three choral groups. Join me for the music of French composers over several centuries, including Fauré.
