Joe Satriani released a new album last week, Shockwave Supernova. The guitarist has been ranked as the biggest selling instrumental rock guitarist of all time, with sales of over ten million albums worldwide. In addition to being a solo artist, Satriani has performed as a member of Deep Purple, as the guitarist for Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones on his first-ever solo tour, as a member of Chickenfoot with sometime Maui resident Sammy Hagar, and as leader of a recurring series of projects with various guitarists in the G3 collaborations, among many projects over decades. Today he returned to HPR and All Things Considered for a conversation with Honolulu ATC Host Dave Lawrence.
