SAVOR by Lexus Perks

SAVOR by Lexus Perks

Lexus Hawai‘i will be hosting SAVOR by Lexus Perks, a series of Kaiseki-inspired dinners throughout the month of January at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum. Kaiseki is a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner that focuses on the balances of taste, texture, appearance and colors of food while honoring seasonal produce. “SAVOR by Lexus Perks is the intersection of innovation, imagination and luxury, and an opportunity to celebrate iconic chefs who are highly integrated in the culinary fabric here in Hawai‘i,” said Peter Dames, executive vice president, Lexus Hawai‘i. “This is a unique opportunity for our owners and the public to experience the Lexus brand without having to sit behind a steering wheel.” Just as the all-new Lexus NX aims to forge a connection between driver, vehicle and the world, the sophisticated dining series sets the tone for 2022, offering the public an exclusive, inside-look at exhilarating experiences beyond driving a luxury vehicle. Guests will learn about the Lexus commitment to craftsmanship, design and performance, through a multi-course dinner with drink pairings curated by some of the finest Hawai‘i-born culinary masters including Chefs Sheldon Simeon (Tin Roof), Robynne Mai‘i (Fête and HeyDay), and Jason Peel (Nami Kaze) during the following events: January 11 and 12 – Chef Sheldon Simeon | Beverage Director Kaʻai Fong January 18 and 19 – Chef Robynne Mai‘i | Beverage Director Fabrice McCarthy January 25 and 26 – Chef Jason Peel | Beverage Director Chris Ramelb There will be two public seatings at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. for each event. Reservations start at $400 for a table of two, with special pricing and dates exclusively for Lexus Hawai‘i owners on Tuesdays throughout the series. Ticket sales for the event will open on Friday, December 3. SAVOR by Lexus Perks will support various community organizations such as the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum, Hawaiʻi Contemporary, and Waipahu High School’s Academy of Professional & Public Service (APPS) Culinary Arts Pathway. “In addition to this being an incredible opportunity to work alongside my colleagues and friends Sheldon and Jason, I am thrilled to participate in SAVOR by Lexus and help support the next generation of culinary students and community partners,” said Chef Robynne Mai‘i.
