Cast Party: Open-Face Glass Casting and Fusing Textures with Karl Hensel
Karl Hensel is one of the four invited artists for the Wondrous Light: Aurora Borealis exhibit held July 6 - 26 at the Downtown Art Center.
In conjunction with the exhibit, he will hold a workshop "Cast Party: Open-Face Glass Casting and Fusing Textures" July 10 & 12. Thurs. July 10 is 8:30- 3:30, second day is Saturday July 12, 8:30- 1:30. Learn to create your own molds for open-face kiln casting as well as create a fused panel with kiln fabric imprints.
He will also give a free presentation, "All Kinds of Glass" on his experiences and journey from a blown glass artist to a fuser and lampwork artist.
