Chris McKinney’s Latest: Boi No Good

Tattoo, Chris McKinney’s first book 13 years ago, caused quite a stir.  It was a brash, unvarnished view of urban Honolulu.  His latest novel, “Boi No Good”, traces the lives of three siblings through radically different upbringings and their eventual reunion.  HPR’s Noe Tanigawa reports.

The Aiea Repertory Company Celebrates the Season!

Since 2003, Desiree Cremer has been planting seeds at Aiea High School.  She started the state’s only ballet and modern dance program to satisfy fine arts requirements---and students have been reaping the benefits since.  HPR’s Noe Tanigawa reports.
