Legendary guitarist Johnny Winter passed away, it was announced today. We reflect with a piece utilizing material from a follow-up interview the guitarist did with HPR after his appearance via phone on All Things Considered with local host Dave Lawrence. This conversation was recorded in Johnny's dressing room at Hawaiian Brian's, Honolulu, April 2011. Johnny passed away yesterday in Zurich at 70.
