Behavioral Health Community Summit: Dr. David Brown
Dr. David Brown is the U.S. Army's Director of Psychological Health for the Pacific region. He and about 450 Behavioral Health professionals serve more than 470 thousand beneficiaries throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim. Dr. Brown came to the Pacific from the Office of the Secretary of Defense where he was the lead Clinical Psychologist and subject matter expert for suicide prevention.
Growing Hawaii’s Culinary Talent: Roy Yamaguchi
Roy Yamaguchi is the Founder and Co-Chair of the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival. He's best known as the creator of “Hawaiian Fusion® Cuisine,” a combination of exotic flavors and spices mixed with the freshest of local ingredients, especially seafood. The first Roy’s opened in Hawai‘i in 1988 and now his empire includes 32 Roy's in Hawaii, the Continental US, Japan and Guam, as well as TV series and cookbooks.
